Frequently Asked Questions

Straight-forward answers to common questions

Q. What are our prices?

A. £24.99/month per child paid in advance via Standing Order. We do offer a free taster session.

* Note: We require a parent/guardian's written consent before we can provide coaching for a child, including the taster session.

Q. How does my child become a member?

A. If you would like your child to become a member please contact us and we will get back to you as soon as possible to discuss any queries you may have and send you a membership form.

Q. Are your coaches vetted/qualified?

A. As a minimum, all of our coaches go through Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks in compliance with the Football Association (FA) requirements for safeguarding children and complete the Playmaker training course provided by the FA. Note: Our coaches often complete further training in areas of sports education, as part of their ongoing professional development.

Our head coach is James Milligan who currently coaches within 2 regional academies along with running his own grassroots teams. We also have several other qualified coaches across our different training centres.

Q. What group of children will my child be training with?

A. We split members into groups of similar age and ability. For example: a group of 6-10 year olds and a group of over 10 year olds would be typical. We aim to keep members in the same group each training session too so they can train with children they are familiar with and develop long-term friendships.

Q. What will my child need to bring with them?

A. Loose clothing is a good idea and underlying layers in the colder months.

We advise wearing comfortable astro-trainers or non-metal stud boots. This will prevent your child from sliding around on the pitch and hurting themselves.

A drinks bottle is essential.

6 - 10 years old - Shin-pads are recommended but not essential as there will be limited contact between children.
Over 10 years old - Shin-pads are required for their safety and to meet FA regulations.

Q. What if my child cannot attend training one day?

A. We are determined to keep our prices low. As such, we are not able to provide refunds if your child cannot attend training at short notice, i.e. due to sickness or because they are not able to get to the training ground for some reason.
